usually newbies get the old high mileage trucks <ie volvos and frieghtliners> rare to get an International..but you could get lucky

My last rig (Freightshaker) was at 999852 on the odometer.....but it was an 03 rebuilt.:biggrin_25525:

I had borrowed it for a friday night as a loaner. It was so much better than mine (and not assigned to anyone), I demanded it from my DM (nicely, but a demand). She didn't want to give it to me because it had a reputation of being a shop queen. Chased out all the small problems in a week. It was running 60k loads level, 60 mph at 1450 rpm. Mileage was 7.5 or so. Great rig.

Cross your fingers, but don't hold your breath. I think most of the time, newbies usually get a Volvo. My first three were Volvo's. But it really depends on what they have available. I got my current truck because the last Volvo I had was going to be in the shop for a week, so my DM got me another one. Fortunately for me, what they had available was a 2009 Freightliner.

What ever it is you get, I hope it's a good one. Good luck!

I tested out in Decatur and I got a choice between a Freightline or a Volvo. I chose the Volvo.
