I am a private investigator. I am looking for a trucker... a very specific trucker. I DO NOT KNOW THE TRUCKER'S NAME. I could really use some help.
I know that he was driving a red Peterbilt 2001-2004 model (most likely 2003-2004), 379 (C-15) Caterpillar engine with a 15" air cleaner. It is a 40"-45" spread dump trailer with a sleeper in it.
I also have a very grainy photo of a mudflap that was on the truck... The pic is a still from a video taken by a dash cam in a police cruiser. It has been enhanced. The video is of poor quality. I am hoping someone can identify the logo. http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/6032/mudflap.jpg
The truck was driving on I-20 West in Madison, Georgia heading toward Atlanta, Georgia on November 11, 2004 and suffered a flat tire at approximately 11:50 P.M.. The truck was carrying a full load of gravel or dirt at the time. The flat occurred between mile markers 104 and 105 on I-20 W.
The wrecker company that came to help with the flat no longer has any records because it happened in 2004.
There is no additional information available. I do not have any markings, numbers, tags, licenses, stickers, etc. that were on the truck. No further identifying informaiton. Believe me, I wish there was.
I am open to ANY suggestions that may help me find the driver or the company he was driving for.

(1) LMMFAO
(2) why are you looking for said trucker
(3) who are you working for, because I don't ever wanna use your company if I need a P.I. -
1) Glad you had a laugh
2) I believe he is a witness in a wrongful death suit. The truck is visible in a few photos taken by police at the accident scene. The truck was not involved in the accident but was pulled to the side of the road due to a flat tire. Police never questioned him as a witness or took any identifying information from him. The lawyer on the case gave me the case a week ago, along with the police photos and asked me to find him.
3) You couldn't afford me anyway.cynicalsailor and Injun Thank this. -
this guy would have the case solved by now.
wildbill123 and end of the road Thank this. -
2) I'm guessing you won't find said trucker.... Do to the fact it was 6 years ago, that truck most likely isn't in service any longer. and the fact that the police didn't identify him or take a statement, then they should be held liable
3) I refuse to comment on affordabilty to a rent a cop -
Now now, rent-a-cops are security. PIs get to have more fun. -
True. But I figured since I make just as much as him, I should be able to afford him. Although, I don't see me needing a PI. I do my own tracking!

he was loaded with a bunch of rocks right before midnight when he blew a tire. No too many dumps out working that late.
