Hope this is the right place to post this.
If you get a sppeding ticket in indiana does any one know if they are linked in to report it to my home state Nebr or any other state?
I have heard that some states dont post it to other states just wondering if indiana is that way.

Just out of curiosity what was the ticket for? I believe when you run a MVR it will be listed. Most states are listed under the MVR. I will see if there is a list I can get if there is some states who don't. Not sure I can, but I will see:yes2557:

I am here to tell all drivers Indiana is like on a zero tolerance for speeding or breaking the law by truck drivers! They will pull you over and they have extra law enforcement for this very reason.
Due to so many accidents that caused death/injury involving truck drivers.
So please please be carefull, they will fine you! :yes2557:

i was passing a truck in my truck he got me 9 over then a log book violation cause the toll booth ticket didnt match what my log showed both fines came to a total of $145.50 which isnt a big deal but really dont want it showing up if i apply at another trucking company i dont want to wait 3 years for it to disapear. im still not sure where he came out of cause he wasnt in the median and no one was behind me and bang all of a sudden on the cb a guy says hey your being pulled over.

i guess you will need to fight the ticket and in court, then you can plea-bargain with the prosecuter to make sure the offense doesnt go on your record in exchange for your no contest plead.you should always fight any ticket you get to protect your cdl.maybe the cop wont show up and it will be dismissed.some states will not record the violations on your record if you pay them in time.you should of never showed the cop your toll ticket because you incriminated yourself. know your rights!!! dont let the cops intiminate & bully you.

I can attest to this. The DOT here is ruthless.

Hire a lawyer and fight it, the lawyer can help keep it off your CDL so you won't be burdened.
They (ISP) are very tricky, I had one bust me going 72, he was hiding between parked trucks in the pickle park, blacked out, watching the radar gun. And of course, no one else knew he was there, until after he had pulled me over. Thankfully, my logs were up to date and he didn't hassle me, wrote me a warning and cut me loose.

If a company runs a report with USIS it will catch it. I had a speeding ticket in VA in 2000. The DMV in SC shows it less than 10 over but the company I applied to use this service and it shows I was over 10. This did not cause a problem but these USIS checks everything.
