It is true that we have not had any lockup issues with the 7700. I did not actually get to talk with you -- the person who called was your wife. As such I did not have the opportunity to pursue any troubleshooting, and so I offered to exchange the unit. In retrospect it would have been better to request that we talk with you directly so that we could get some accurate information and ask a few questions. I will give you a call.

By the way, yes we have current updates.

Updated mine (they said it would work better NOT!!) then put my FIST through mine ..works a lot better now...not getting lost like before have a Garmin Nuvi trucker now ) the Cobra made a better punching bag than anything else. the only thing the cobra was good about was the extras ok that was better at finding fuel ...but who needs that if it keeps getting you out of route 50 or more miles ,and lost down streets that are impossible to back out of ,?? P.O.S. ...recommend this for people you hate A LOT

Unfortunately you will need to wait for the disk. It contains a special password based on the serial number of your unit. If you were to get a copy from someone else, it would have the wrong password file.

    Sorry!

Has anyone tried the 7750 Platinum? Other than the graphics is there any difference from the 7700pro?
