We don't want to see you injured in any way. -

Does Watkins & Shepard have trainers for x amount of time as you learn or is it just a short orientation period with book and driving tests before they just stick you out on the road?
-
Whether or not you succeed at this new lifestyle, has nothing to do with your ability. That, my friend, you have in ample supply. It's simply a choice that has been placed in front of you. Everything you need for this third career is yours for the taking.
Remember, ending one career, and starting a new one happens to many of us. Don't look at any of it as a failure. It's a teacher. Shake the dust off and move on. The dawn of a new day approaches.

They have enough on their plate worrying about what's in your wagon. -
W/S accepts graduates from their list of approved schools.
Orientation and training lasts 10 days, where they will review and enhance your driving skills, in addition to educating you with their policies and procedures. If you make it through the 10 day training, you'll be given your own truck and will head out solo.
That's a brief summary. If you read this thread from the beginning, Chris has been providing us with details of his training.chralb Thanks this. -
No trainers, but a 10 day training session/orientation. Several different driving scenarios including city, rural, and mountain driving as well as the classroom paperwork stuff.chralb Thanks this. -
