i had to use an auto for my road test, for the first time. i thought it would make it easier, but not really. hated it, do not want.

never driven them--but have seen a few stuck on just a skim of snow
they probabely have their good points and there bad points as everything else does -
I ran an auto truck for awhile at USX. It was great in traffic, but lacked IMO in the mountains in the East, on slick surfaces, and low speed maneuvering.
I've said it a number of times, you can give a whole new meaning to the term, "hit a dock" with the ones with no clutch pedal.
All that said, I much prefer a manual shifter, seems you have much better control.25(2)+2 Thanks this. -

I have experience with heavy loads and I cannot imagine a truck "knowing" its gear.
