No I got the attitude from people like you Mike, People who would rather stand back and quack on the radio about how a driver is having a hard time getting into a parking space rather then getting your lazy A%^ out of the truck and helping him, You my friend is what is haqppening and is what is wrong with this industry, My attitude is fine till it is altered by fools such as yourself who thinks they know it all, I suggest that if you know it all why don't you write a book then if it sells enough copies you can go buy an island and leave all the rest of us alone, Attitude or not, Mike sorry to say I will be OK.
Mike it doesn't matter, I'm not on that truck or any other god sent driver such as yourself, You act like you are perfect, I wish you would check that perfection with that trick of walking on water, This has just been a hiccup in my process to find a good company to work for, Yes Prime is a great company but a few of their trainers are not the best out there but you see it was all my fault all this stuff happened, I asked both trainers, "How many trainees have ever requested to get off your truck?" The first one said he has never completed the full training with any trainee... Hmmm that says alot the second one said he had 4 trainees on his truck and only one had completed the full training process on his truck, I then asked "How many of these guys are you still in communications with? Like do they call to check in with you? Or maybe ask for a bit of advise?" Both of them said "NO ONE CALLS THEM EVER, THAT EVERY SITUATION ENDED THE SAME WAY OURS DID". Do you see a patern here? End of story.![]()

1) hopefully I can get a trainer like U2 or Sazook
2)TD....even I know that if you can't even park it, then it's time to find a desk -
So what if he only had 1:10 on his 70... If you bothered to learn anything about the 70 hour rule, he probably needed you to get the truck down the road until midnight when he got hours back and then he could get a full shift of driving in meanwhile wishing he could stuff a wad of cotton in your mouth with all your complaining or pontificating on your vast "basic knowledge of life."
What does this mean anyway?
Is it possible you talke such a great game to your trainer (seeing how you are briming with confidence at how well you drive) that he didnt see the need to worry about your skills? Maybe your superior "basic knowledge of life" translated into excellent driving skills.... remember you can drive and you do it well.
There is no secret. You didnt know what you were getting into. Training isnt a CDL school. Training is for driver's who have basic driving experiance and need time behind the wheel before being turned out on their own truck. Its to show how Prime conducts business, whats expected of its drivers, and how the driver is expected to perform when conducting that business.
The picture seems to get clearer and clearer....
I seriously fault your trainer for having too much trust in your ability to drive. (I wonder where he got that idea? maybe from your big mouth)
Your second trainer thought the work joke was funny the first time, and figured you had a "smart mouth" when you repeated it the next day.
Quit you, Fired him, or Quit him?ThatTruckerFrom305 Thanks this. -

They say they are good but who are they asking? themselves? they are their own worst enemy... I wish you well, but the stats are not in your favor..Just saying.
Take Care.

U2 I have you on ignore so the sooner you get down the road with that late load driving it with your slave for a trainee the better it will be for all of us. Take Care. TD.

Good luck finding a company with the perfect training force out there. Read the forums much? While the majority of trainers are decent, professional individuals, there are always a few bad apples (trainers) in every bunch.
Ive had 5. So far one completion and one nearly complete. What does that say about me?
One guy quit because his girlfriend was hassling him, she didnt know what she was getting into with him being away...
I kicked one off the truck due to his lack of interest in anything but sleeping and ignoring instructions. I gave him a chance, had a discussion of what was expected and he was warned. No improvement
I kicked one off before he even got to my truck. I was warned that I was his 3rd trainer, and that his other trainers didnt bother to pick him up after dropping him off for hometime. Guy had been off for over a week and had 2 days notice of when and where he was expected to be for pick up. I had a delivery schedule to make, he had other ideas that he could somehow change that schedule... Load comes first.
Its got to be the trainer's fault.
Quit you, fired him, Quit him... which is it?Yodler Thanks this. -

Quit you, fired him, Quit him... which is it?
Lying, fibbing, or creative storytelling? Doesnt matter what you say, you've got a credability issue.
