also you should see a file called NaviInfo... do you see this file?
Under navimaps you should see a whole list of files...
Have you tried to connect it to the Dock and update it?
Thanks,
Mark -
yes i see that file. yes i see all those folders. i only deleted the above stated folders.

In the root of the TND directory, you need the NaviInfo file and the Navi\user folder to be able to have the Dock rebuild all the deleted folders.

OMG I GOT IT FIXED. I just had to reinstall my TND Dock. I guess one of my programs deleted a file i needed to be able to sync to the GPS. i reinstalled it and then updated it and it said it updated my gps I just rebooted the gps and its working NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you for all your help. Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you. -
In dealing with the Internet and downloads, files do corrupt sometimes in the download process.
Uninstalling and reinstalling the TND is the first thing to try.
Then deleting the Navi\bin and the Navi\layouts folders only and letting the TND Dock reinstall them.
Lastly, their are a few folders on your C:\ that the TND Dock uses to compare what is on your TND versus what is on the updates. These can become unstable sometimes.
So, I am happy you got your TND up and running... let it charge for a few hours and then do a Full backup...
Have a safe trip and stay out of the doghouse.
Thanks,
Mark -
