    Yep. It's over fairly warm water... and not hitting any high pressure systems.. so it is going to gather intensity fairly fast.

    I hauled a lot of loads of equipment down to Louisiana after Katrina, I have seen what they can do first hand, they aint no joke.

    MrBeast, I guess I am broken in a crazy sort of way. I KNOW these sorms are serious business, and these guys can tell you, I will whine, beg, plead and demand my people get our of the path of these monsters.. But I want to be there myself! I want to see it, feel it, experience it for myself! Yep, I am nuts!

    not to mention it gets real friggin spooky just before it hits and during the eye....that's when most of the deaths happen is during the eye....people come out and dont get back into safe zones in time

    I'e lied in CA all my life, in the interior Central Valley. The worst I have ever seen weather-wise was the remnant low of a storm back in the 80's. It scared the beejeezus out of me. But for some reason, I still love the rush of a good storm. The only thing I cannot handle is the loss of life.
