You bring up a valid point, that I hadn't thought of. :biggrin_25514: But following directly behind each other, they don't have to fight the high pressure systems like they would if they were "on their own"...

Hmmmm... the Brickman gives me food for thought....:biggrin_2558:

    Yes and no.

Depends on where the high pressure system is in relation to the storms.
Or the high pressure waves, which ever term you prefer.
If a new wave comes between Fi or Gaston the high pressure will steer them too.

The models show Fionna pretty much following Danielle.
This week next time we'll discuss who was right and who wasn't. :biggrin_255:

I'm gonna call Gaston going into the gulf. Often times when they go south of or over Cuba they eventually turn north and hit TX, LA etc.
It is early, any thing is possible.

I had a feel this one would be different. 3 in a row going to the east of the mainland wasn't going to continue that.

any thing is possible judging by the historical tracks

forecasted to be a CAT 1 on sunday already. They've moved that up now.
    5 day cone of uncertainty.

That is what I remembered. Most of them did not look to go to FL at first either.
