I'm looking for a mens water proof, digital, military time wrist watch with an extra large wrist band for a large wrist.

There are plenty of waterproof digital watches out there but more specifically I'm looking for ones that accomadate a large man's wrist.

It's for my bf - I don't know the size of his wrist but the common, off the wal-mart shelve ones are a lil tight.

    What do you guys use?

ebay is also good for sunglasses--if want some good ones--a lot cheaper than in stores--a good pair of glasses will last years --but crappy ones i can go thru in a week----and driviing i like to have at least 2 different pair---for different light settings--if you take care of your eyes you dont get as tired and can drive longer--

I bought this beautiful watch in Hong Kong ....

I have an Armitron that has four alarms on it, military time, waterproof, timers and has a velcro clasp. I like the velcro because when it is 110* my wrist is less tolerate of the watch so I can loosen it up easily. It was about $19.00 at Wally World. It also has the indigo backlight so you can see what you need to see when you need to see it.

    I wear the Casio G-Shock 1545 DW 5600 E

I got it at the Wal Mart Supercenter in Pigeon Forge, TN when I discovered my prior watch of the same make and style missing when on vacation at Dollywood Amuseument Park.

To set my watch I call the US Naval Observatory Master Time Clock ... 202-762-1401. It gives the time is Eastern Daylight Savings Time or Eastern Standard Time depending on the season. Also, it gives a second time count ... the current time in Universal / Zulu / Royal Observatory - Greenwich, England time. You can set your watch accordingly to fit your specific time zone.

I wear an expensive Rolex. After all, I am a trucker.

Actually a cheap timex armitron. If it gets damaged or whatever, only about 30.00 to replace from any walmart.

Do the velcro bands do OK in the shower? Do you shower :biggrin_25525: with your watches?
