I resent that....I AM FAR FROM COMMON...just ask most anybody on TTR....remember to take whatever they say with a grain of salt...it's an image thing I must protect!

I have been looking several times for something to support whether it has to be in possession like when a ticket is issued and it taken as bond. I cannot find anything either way.

I was inspected in the blitz this year at the rest area by Flagstaff, Az. After my inspection a guy waved me down that was red tagged. He had left his wallet at home and was forced to shut down by DOT untill he either produced his license and med card ... or find someone else that had the credentials could drive his truck away.

I was empty, he had a load on that needed to get to Kingman (also his home). Only thing I could do was give him a ride home (his company wouldnt let a non employee drive their truck away) ... he had to grab his wallet and take his personal vehicle back up there.

Ticket or not is not the problem. You cannot operate a Commercial Vehicle without your license in your possession. You will be put Out of Service with the resulting problems.

    Must of missed this.

    Now comes another thought.

I have not had a ticket in many long years, pre cdl.

They took my license the last time, what happens now if you get a ticket?
