I don't know how they taught things at your academy, but at Millington it was....."begin thinking" first, then hook, scale, etc!:biggrin_25525:

    There you go!:biggrin_25522:

7000 miles - 'That's pride f------ with you. Pride only hurts, it never helps'
Marsellus Wallace - pulp fiction, Quinten Tarantino.

There is no way one solo driver is going to get planned to 4000 miles/week let alone at Swift. It is impractical and near impossible. It is no advantage to Swift to do so. So it ain't going to happen.

Looking at the miles per a driver from just one large terminal - a couple are close to 3000 miles/week but none are over or even at 3000/week, a few (less than 10%) are around 2500, the rest are are around 1600-1800 miles.

Mentor teams vary but usually come close to what a hard working solo driver does (25000 - < 3000- not much or any more). Same with regular teams.

Dedicated accounts often have drivers with even less miles than that but they are usually compensated by Swift's sliding scale and accesorial pay.

I have found similar stats at all of the Swift terminals.

It is a shame that a recruiter or DM can say any different; it is even bigger shame that some drivers believe it. Things will never change as long as companies like Swift can find people to buy their BS.

It seems to me, that there are a couple of grumpy old farts on here that are probably very lonely and unhappy (not you Oldnew) and could probably use a friendly GROUP HUG

"Sorry to tell you but you're wrong. I'm fresh off the Swift Mentor Truck."

Being just off a mentors truck you must know that Swift goes to great effort to publish fictitious numbers that make them look bad.
