There's a lot of little things about this that irritate me, but the two that stand out the most are the scrolling feature on Favorites. I can't for the life of me figure out how to scroll without selecting a waypoint.

Second most irritating thing is the ETA. It'll give me 2hrs eta in the same time zone with 30miles to go and running 60mph. Is it that stupid. I know running that will put me at 30min, it's not that big of a deal, but why is this so bloody far off?

There's probably more things that irritate me about it, but those two are the biggest.

    Best thing about it?
The speedometer and the aussie chick talking dirty to me.

How do you have it set up for mph for each of the different types of highways?
Also, use the stylus and not your finger when scrolling down on the favorites.

Jeez, I thought the mph for the roads were just used to choose the minimum mph for road choices, not used in the eta algorithm.

i do use my stylus Jim, but even with that, it's borked. The scroll bar on the right seems to move in the opposite direction, meaning, if you want to scroll the page down, you have to move the bar up. If you don't use the bar, any amount of pressure on the page itself will select a favorite.

and the bar is ultra small, skinny and short. It is most definitely odd.

    It is most irritating.

Seems to be OK for eta's but that scroll has given me some grief. Sometimes it seems it's super sensitive, other times not. I have better luck when I do it quickly but then it scrolls right past what I'm looking for sometimes. Ignore the scroll bar and think of it as pushing the bottom of the page up.

Just have to get the feel for it I guess, like a newbie learning to shift.

exactly. the eta is just an irritation, but the scrolling "feature" is absolutely horrible.

Don't get me started on it trying to route me on a dead end road that was never a road, in the middle of a corn field or it trying to make me turn right or left off of a bridge. :)

I can only give this gps a B on its best days. Other times it is in the d to c range.

I haven't had any of these problems, but I have the 440.

I posted a bit about my experiences here. It seems to have a lot of POI's in cornfields and stuff. They definitely still have some work to do on getting this thing right.

Yeah, using software style ratings I can decide if it's in the beta phase or still alpha.

I'd love to say Final seeing as I spent 280 on it. After the first week I used it, I was thinking it was in Beta. After 40,000 miles, I'm sad to say, for me, it seems to be in Alpha.

I'm going to be patient and hope they address the "features" they need to, but my buddy just threw his out the window and got a Rand Mcnally. He seems to like it better. As far as I'm concerned, I'll deal with it as the only thing I truly use/like about it is the speedometer and I can't afford another gps as I just got a Roaddog Mattress. Now that is something that was worth twice the cost.
