WS drivers whats your 20

9/5/10 -- Home until Monday late nite, then another run to the desert to meet CAGE. This is working out, although there are some bugs we need to get ironed out with the ops department...I am very tired all the time until I get used to running all through the nite and getting to bed at 10am...

 

Just left Peoria,IL...supposed to be in Portland by Monday. Just switched out our truck in Jersey. In 1938 now, had to give up the 13 speed. Some lucky solo driver will be very happy with her...1849, she was a great truck.

 

9/6--- Home running again tonight with 2 deliveries tomorrow. Looks like Warp and I may need to meet early so I can handle a delivery at 8 and another at 9:30. Warp and I are getting it done but it will be much nicer once we can get ahead and run a more regular "day" schedule instead of these odd hours.

 

Here we go, looks like I'll be heading to SFS tomorrow. I'm getting truck 1699. I hope it's a good one.

 

Good luck to you in 1699! Sounds like a Freightshaker? You should get a good load coming out of SFS. We will be there by Saturday...1938. Maybe we will see you there.

Yeah, except for having to start my "day" at 10pm and trying to sleep thru the real "daytime"..

9/9/10 -- Home. Get to be a regular person for a couple of days, getting to do some local work and don't have to be there at the crack of midnite for a change! 8am start time...

 

I guess I could update. We will start with several days ago of running. Took a load out of Conover to Colorado. Beer in Colorado to Vegas. Load from Vegas to SFS, CA. Then load from CA to OH. Load from OH to Dalton, GA. Dalton to Conover. Conover to SFS and Modesto (2 stopper). Modesto to Reno, NV (4 stopper). Reno, NV to San Diego, CA. Then deadheaded today back up to SFS, CA where I am now sitting with 90 percent of the rest of the drivers at this company, haha. Leave tomorrow heading to Helena, MT. Oh what fun, finally some sleeeeeeeeeeeeeppppppppp.

 

9/11/10 Pilot # 308 on 80 in Laramie WY en route to Portland.
