Im pretty sure all the ATMs in the T/S are privately owned
so your gonna pay a fee there. You might not at a bank, but i think
    you will at a T/S.

You will not get reimbursed for using your Comdata card in an ATM. You will also get charged everytime you use direct deposit or register a comchek. But, whenever you get money put on your card (paycheck, toll reimbursement, lumper payment, scale reimbursement etc.) you get a free transaction. The charge comes from Comdata itself to use their service, not from May.

Bottom line though May is making a profit from there banking practices and this is just another way fir May Trucking to get it's money back. This company does not do anything for anybody without charging them someway. They do not pay any of the charges to com-data the drivers pay them all. It is fundamentally wrong for you to have to pay to get your pay check from anybody, They (MAY) owes you the money and it is WRONG for them not to pay you in a way that does not cost you. It is legal, but that does not make it right.

You will find out the rest as you work there.

i will agree that learning that May doesn't offer Direct Deposit was a blow to the gut, comdata sucks, but it's a sacrifice i'll have to make, as long as i can pay my bills i'll be alright.

You don't pay anything to get your money from Comdata unless you use more credits than you get.

During orientation you can setup direct deposit. Once you get paid, on Thursday afternoon, you call the Comdata number and follow the prompts. It takes 2-4 days to get your money in your account, but it gets there.

What you are describing is not direct deposit. Direct deposit deposits money directly from the payor's account to the payee's account with no middleman like comdata.

    Yes it will transfer.

Civil, it is true it's not direct deposit. Yes it is a clunky way of doing it, but, atleast it is there. As long as you are not dividing up your check multiple times you should never have to pay the fee to get your money. The system is clunky I agree to that.
