He said nothing about it being the company's fault. Prime is taking a greater interest and making investments to improve driver health. Everyone knows it is up to the individual to change their lifestyle... so how is it wrong to periodically provide information and guidance to the drivers. I see this sleep study as very big step.
Sleep apnea causes fatigue. Fatigue is a safety issue, they're killing two birds with one stone here.
FAT people are Discriminated against at prime

looking at a lot of drivers someone needs to be pushing health because they sure as #### dont care enough to do anything about it otherwise. while we're at it, how about some guidlines on showers and keeping your truck clean?
anyway i completely agree with what dude said, drink water, dont stuff your face, avoid fast food and walk a mile or 2 a day and you can be in really good shape. if the thought of that outrages you, well you just might be a lazy ####. -
yah know this is ,is because of mrs.oboob and her nutrition for kids that gona cost us billions!!! As far as kids go i'm all for it! but what mrs. oboob dont know is that most truck stops are going back to the fast food industry, as for me i'm no twig , i'm 6'1 240 lbs,now i do have a little gut since i'v been home for the last 5 mths, but even befor when i took my Dot physical the doc put on my report that i was over weight at 225lbs??????i'v havent weighed a 190 in 30 yrs,and i look like i'm on a metrical diet for anorrexia at 190lbs!!! but make no mistake if mrs oboob wants this it will be regulated buy the crack pot that makes the regulation

With the state of US health care, Obamacare, and the trends in the insurance industry - you can expect many industries using BMI, smoking, sleep and stress tests, and other high risk factors in considering employment.
Though in reference to the OP, if 2% bodyfat is the "passing by the skin of your teeth" standard at Prime - they should probably be ready for their fleet to shrink by half or more.
