    Hi Gitty and thank you. Actually it was a company called Sharkey that guaranteed the $1000 a week. Does that mean they will work you to death for that grand? What does CSA stand for so I can look it up online to make sure. None of my meds or concerns affect my conscious level or driving ability.

    I don't know how any company could say they guaranteed 1000 a week. You don't know what loads you will get unless your dedicated running( same loads all the time) you can't predict breakdowns, traffic jams, weather, slow shippers and receivers. Maybe running their own products to their own companies or stores???? As a driver you have to get a medical card and some companies are really tough on the medical stuff. CSA2010 is all over this site and the Internet and there is a whole lot of stuff in it, lots of reading!!!

    Oh, BTW, do you get your nails done???

    No I don't get my nails done and I'm good on shopping provided I have money to shop with. LOL
    I don't know how Sharkey can advertise the grand a week but they do. In your opinion would I be able to make at least $2,000 per month as a newbie working OTR full time?

    Should be able to make 2000 a month.
    If they say they guarantee it make them prove it and in writing. Is it local work? And I can guarantee they will work your but off for it if they do.:biggrin_25521:
    You need to make more then 2000 so you can afford to go shopping and start getting your nails done!:biggrin_25526:

    Sharkey is a OTR company just like all the rest. Their $1000 a week gaurentee is already in writing! It is right on their home page!
