Not sure of his reason, but some shrink as they age. Posture, disks compress from weight and deterioration etc.

Hey driver you get my respect . Seeing that they told you what you need to do. You show your willingness to do what needs to be done. Any company would be better with you onboard.

Yes we do shrink with age. I was 6'3 when I was 15 yrs younger. Last Drill weekend I had my 6 month APFT..6'2 1/4 I did find the lost 3/4 inches though, it slipped to my waist as I am now 214lbs from 205 just 6 month ago..
