oh yea the greer terminal is the terminal that ask you 20 questions when you leave the terminal at the intercomm dont have any complaints about that i believe all terminals should be concerned about our safety and at least they call you by your first name when you talk to them. i give them a thumbs up. now the worst terminal ive been to so far is.......... dont want to cause a stir up because this may be some peoples home terminal

didnt mean nothing by it. im glad all drivers from different companies can interact thats all. just trying to make conversaton

 

KE5WDP is right on orientation. It 's boring at times, but you get a good lunch from Theo's. I went out with a trainer for 2 weeks after orientation. I learned alot in those 2 weeks. It helps to see how the paperwork is done, and the Qualcomm macros that they want you to send.

 

here is another tid-bit. ANYTIME you are ever at your terminal, and its not super busy, like late at night. I always chat it up with a planner (if there are any there) just to ask how exactly a load is created and then put on a load board, then on your truck. If you show a little interest in their jobs and how they do it, they'll see you are more of a team player than other dick jones' just sitting around whining about not staying rollin'.

When i first started, i thought that my DM had 20 or so drivers to look after. EHHHHHHH......wrong....try closer to 60-80.
