Why would you want to screw up a perfectly good record by going to work for someone who runs his business like that?
6 Months with this guys company and you'd probably lose your license!Injun Thanks this. -
In another thread, there were equipment OOS orders as well.
That makes your "honest mistake", "how are we supposed to know" and "that driver is an idiot" ratio pretty high. I wouldn't work for you. Besides all that, your words were "sometimes you have to break the rules to make money." Or something very close along those lines.
Really, though, the only reason I put all these together was to put light to your lies. If there's one thing in life I detest, it's being lied to. You claimed a single OOS in 19 months, I pointed out no fewer than three...and then you went on to list even more. Now you are passing the buck once again.
Sorry, but a business owner's job is to know about all of that stuff. If you can't hack that with a paltry nine trucks, I hope your drivers' records are still intact when they go looking for jobs after your business folds.
All you have told me by listing out your toys is you have a champagne taste and some pretty high bills. I could care less. I'm not trying to keep up with the Joneses and die with the most toys. I'm content with being comfortable.
See, it's not all about money for me, like it is for you. And I'm happier for it. -
No space bar Huh?
Shouldn't of spilled that drink. -
My personal OOS was in January of 2009 in Indiana while running under another company. February 2009 I started my own authorities.
They you go again making assumptions. My monthly payments is $1,200 and thats for the mortgage on the new house. The good news for me is the trucking company makes all of the payments.
All of the trucks are owned by me. I lease them to my company, talk about write offs.
I'm sure that eventually I will close the company, however I'm doing something right if in these poor economy my fleet is groving.
The great news is the Prevost Motorcoach that I'm going to purchase is all going to be paid by the company.
When drivers want to use it to go on holidays all they have to pay for is $1.00 per mile and $400 clean up cost after use.
I'm telling you the way things are, you are just pissed off that someone is doing better then you.Last edited: Oct 7, 2010

*snicker* nope, not pissed off...amused. I'm amused how you keep painting yourself into a corner. See there? Another lie. You were talking about your CSA2010 score. Uh....that'd be on the US side.
All you are is greedy and flashy. That's not jealousy, it's an observation. Crap that takes up space, requires maintenance and leaves oil messes everywhere is not my idea of paradise. It's just junk.
My idea of paradise is something you will never understand. Something you are trying to acquire through embezzlement and tax evasion. Something you will never, ever have, even if you buy the world.
I am content. And I never have to worry about another bill as long as I live. Clear enough?
I'm done with this pissing contest. you have shown your true colors here and if there are still people here willing to work for you, well, I guess there's one born every minute. -
My driver could have falsified his log once he was loaded; he didn't because we try to run by the book and we had plenty of time on the 11hour rule when we got to the border. If he falsified his loading time we would not have any problems. The DOT would never know and we would not be having this lengthy discussion.
However the problem with some people in this forum they don't read the entire post or they can't comprehend what they are reading. -
People work for me because they get paid well $.66/per mile. They work 5 days on and their reset is always at home. If they want to work they work if not I don't care I have more drivers then trucks.
I dont push my drivers or equipment. -
