The school to get your CDL is 2 weeks then you have 3 days or orientation. That week you are put on a trainers truck for 28days then you come back and upgrade to your own company truck. After that 3 month as a company than you have your option to lease.

New Trainer time is now 35 days. When I came back to driving after my 4 year stent working at a local job at home and already had my CDL Class A from 6 years ago, Found out our class was the last of the 28 day classes.

Just wanted to share my first day experience in SLC. Hectic day involving paperwork, paperwork, work well test, security interview, pee test, paperwork, DOT physical and did I mention paperwork. Long day, got done at 9:00pm because they only had 1 doctor doing DOT physical instead of the normal 2. Had a big scare. This morning when they did the BP test screening, my BP was 117/72. When they did it tonight, it was 159/82. WTF!!!! We lost 10 people tonight, just because of BP. Lost 3 this morning, 2-BP and 1 Criminal. Apparently, the altitude and stress of the day can change your blood pressure that much. But 42 points?? Anyway, passed the DOT so now we can finally start learning tomorrow.

Wow what was the bp cut off? Why did they take it twice?? How was the work well test? I heard they put you on a heart monitor while you are doing the test.
