I don't bother writing down the foul ups the GPS does any more. It tried to get me to go North at the I77-64 split in Charleston WV. It wanted me to take I-79N at that junction instead of 64W to US35.

I was going from Beckly WV to Washington Court House OH.

First check whether you have the latest software and map database:

    1. Tap anywhere on the map screen. You should be at a menu.
    2. Tap on CONFIGURE in the upper-right.
    3. There will be a black arrow in the lower-right. Tap on it 2 times.
    4. Tap on VERSION.
The second line is the software version. The latest version is 1.5.1.23
The third line is the map database version. Check the last few digits. The latest version ends in 222X.

If you do not have the latest map version, then please call customer service at 773-889-3087. They will mail you an update. It will update both the maps and the software.

If you have the latest map version but not the latest software version, it is available <HERE>.

There is also a redlight camera database that you can update. Click <HERE>.

I think there might be a spelling error in the map data. We have two spellings for what appears to be the same road:

    Menalaus Road
    Menelaus Road

Looks like 2290 Menelaus is the correct one. Please try it. I will have our engineers investigate the spelling.

Regarding the hardware version listed in your 7750, the software erroneously reports it as a 7700. Our engineers are already aware of this. I know it will cause some confusion.

As for the AURA downloads, please try <HERE>.

I tried running the route, and my unit takes exit 101 onto 64W, which is correct. I was using a 3 axle tractor, 2 axle trailer with default settings. Maybe one of your truck settings is causing the problem. It would be helpful to know all the weights and lengths in your truck settings. I could then re-run the route with exactly the same truck settings.

    33230 empty 5 axle 11500 34000 34000 80,000 on gross 75ft long.

Brian that is the same area where in S Charleston I couldn't find a hazmat load months ago in this thread. My friends lap top with PC Miler couldn't find that place either.

Does the 7750 have the weigh stations on it? Speed limits? Live traffic updates?

I tried those settings and it still takes 64W. I don't know why you had a problem.

Regarding the 7750, it does have weigh stations but not speed limits and not traffic.

There are some new roads that trucks are not allowed to travel down and my Cobra doesn't tell me. Is there new software that I can download onto my Cobra so that it has up to date roads and restrictions?
