I am calm. What led you to believe I wasnt? I guess I need to start usin more smileys so people wont keep thinkin Im tense all the time.....

Yer right, it doesnt.... But what makes what Im tellin you different is the fact that I work for them. Im giving you true information. Trust me, if I felt England was screwin me in any way to a reasonable extent, I would be informing people about it. Never have I once painted this pretty picture about England that wasnt true. Theyre not perfect. But they arent the worst either.

Ah hell, here we go again.....

C'mon, you're little analogies arent even close to being on track because once again, yer talkin about one being who hates everybody except for one person. "I'm" not the only driver England likes if they even like me at all. Theres waaaaaaay morre than just me and it this point, so please, unless you can come up with a real example, enough is enough.

Thats totally not true, even for company drivers. As long as your trailer is in a secure location, you can move that tractor all you want except for company trucks that are only allowed 15 or 20 miles a day. Now, if you're loaded, they dont want you unhookin from the trailer unless its at one of the terminals or at one of their allowed dropyards.

I also will be going to CRE driving school. I start on Nov.1st. Dallas TX. I tried other carriers, but they said I have to get my CDL A before getting hired on. Apparently my home state is a PITA. I can't afford school, so the tuition plan they have kinda fits my needs. Let me state this clearly: I have no intent whatsoever on leasing a rig from CRE. I am getting on the greyhound with a nice positive attitude, and that's how I'm keeping it. The future is not set. There's no fate but the one we make. With that said, yes I have heard the stories and the warnings, but I'm at a point in my life where my head is over a barrel. It really sucks. But, by starting a new chapter hopefully we can turn it around.

I also understand that I'm green, or probie, or a horn, or a newbie, whatever your poison, so I have a full understanding I will be getting crapped on. Daily. Its how the game works before you are able to get your "wings".

Just scroll through this thread. One of the drivers that is saying they aren't as bad as we make them out to be said he was not going to lease. Was not a company truck available; so he leased. They have all kind of schemes and plans going. Why is it that none of you ever question why there is no seasoned veterans posting about how good they are? Over the years on this board and others I have found 4 types of people who talk good about them. 1) wannabes. 2) students. 3) rookie drivers. 4) recruiters. Why is that?
One of you recruiters need to invent a driver now to start posting on how good they are. Lets say how about a driver with 5 years of experience.

Why is it that no others than the 4 I listed ever talk about how good they are?:biggrin_2556: Why do you think so many seasoned drivers try to warn you newbies off? Is it because we are haters and don't want you to take control of your own destiny or that we have been seeing this unfold for many years? Think about it. I don't care if you want to lease on to ethiopian truck lines if you are dead set on doing it. I am not the one that will end up paying in the long run.

Just look at the one telling how good they are. He is a rookie driver 9 months into his lease. Has he completed it yet? Lots of things can happen in the future with them. I know of several the closer they got to completing the lease the more they jacked with them and made it where they could not afford to complete the lease. Then they gouged them with all kinds of fees. Take advice off whoever you want, but you better make sure they don't fall into that list of 4 types I listed....:biggrin_2556:

Honestly notarps, the only complaining I hear on here about the company are from leasees. I refuse to be a leasee. Ill team drive, on a company truck, or whatever I will not lease. I'm looking to get my A, drive down the road for a year, and move on. I'm not speaking positively about them, cause I know less than nothing of them. I'm speaking about my own frame of mind, entering into this new chapter of my life. I'm no recruiter, my bank account will verify that. I'm like a half noob, half wannabe. I have my B with air and tank. I drive a straight cabover with an auto trans. Currently. I also drive it for free. I take your advice, but as with all advice I take it with a grain of salt. Sry, but that's just me. There are always 2 sides to a story. I am one to always look at the fine print. And again, the prolems exist with people who don't read the lease agreement and get in over their head. So I'm just looking at it as , ok then. No lease agreement for me. Ill take that A I just earned, and if u leave stranded, u can come after me for what I don't have from the schooling, and use it somewhere else. It really is that easy.

Look, it's a cold day in hll, when me and notarps4me agree on something...

We do not know each other, we fight often, are on different ends of the political scale...
But yet...when it comes to CR England...we're hand in hand...

We're trying to save you a lot of future headache and pain...

I have nothing to personal gain by writing this...nothing at all...

It's simply my conscious, I respond to...

Look, I know things are bad, but don't make them worse...

Underworld rejects we may be...but as drivers we still care...and want to prevent you newer guys and gals from getting screwed...

Now, let's party like caddy shack...

Again, I get all of that guys. But all of the horror stories are coming from people who took that ###### lease. I will not.

I'm as stubborn as they are crooked. :)
