Have a question maybe someone can answer...on a side note. Is anyone else in the situation Hubby an I are in...we do not have a permanent address and probably wont for awhile. We are trying to find an apartment or efficiency but until then...Swift wants a physical address..atm a friend is letting us use hers but if anyone has any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanky

its going to be so simple, you'll slap your hubby in the face for not thinkin' of it.......

a P.O. Box. and if swift asks or says "no it has to be a street address"...you just tell them you're under witness protection, and cannot give it out. =)

    Hi wyldfyur,

I am in the next class that started on the 18th. We had one guy that had to leave today so there will definetly be room for you. It's been nice to be able to read about someone else's experiences on here, gave me a good idea of what to expect.

As far as the address thing. Search on here for trucker's home base, there is a thread with alot of information on home address issues and what not.

    See ya 'round

    Wyldfyur Thanks this.

Yeah, just got started on the pre-trip today. I'm from OR so I hear our test on pre-trip is a lot easier. The pre-trip seems pretty straightforward to me I'm not expecting too much trouble on that. Yes, I am at the cedars.

Kewl...I have rented one of the kitchenettes here so we can have a permanent address. Price is very reasonable. Ya you lucked out being from Oregon..they even get to have a cheat sheet with em for the CDL test.
    Have you driven before?
Ya probably dont know who your instructor is yet right?

Nope, tomorrow will be the first time. We start on straight-line backing once we hit daylight. Should be pretty interesting. I better get to bed, 4am comes early!

    Wyldfyur Thanks this.
