Russia lost USSR militatry power.... seems to me it is good.

No man if it came down to a dog fight between Russian planes and western planes I'd be putting my cash on the Russians , have a look at the su37 on YouTube , it can turn mid air in it's own length , nothing in the west can match that even today, inferior my ###, Russian aerodynamic designs are years ahead of the wests , you shouldn't be listening to us propaganda , even in small arms Russian ak47 is king, we tried American m16 etc during the war and they were inferior , English styer too, more jamming crap, don't underestimate Russian technology don't forget they were your only proper enemy during the cold war with equal technology capable of knocking your ### out of it too

( Russian space shuttle capable of ejecting pilots in a capsule in an emergency, would have been handy in challenger and Columbia disasters huh?) Soviet regime was very difficult to understand. It was limited concurention inside USSR and if all military things were in competition with US products (planes, guns, off road trucks, tanks...) all other things made for internal market were of lower quality and of cheap versions. and what a reason was for Russians build fuel savimg engines if they sell oil?

 

I may be wrong but i think you're talking about military engines? fuel saving engines in the event of war is a great idea, British tanks, trucks etc were powered by petrol because petrol was easier to find at the time in case of war Eventhough a petrol engine doesn't last as long as a diesel !
