I am considering Roehl and would like to get into Flatbed fleet. Below is their accessorial pay as listed on their website? Opinions? Comparisons to TMC and Maverick (two others I am considering)? I know Maverick's pay is better almost 40cpm. TMC starts at 23% percentage pay or up to 37 cpm. MOre so, I would like to run for a company -TMC and Maverick - that KNOWS Flatbedding, with a good rep in the business community. Not sure about Roehl's Flatbedding reputation though

I am headed to train at Roehls training center in Wi.
They are pushing flatbed, so after I do my evos i will train for FB.
Their pay rate is graduated up the longer you stay with them.
    Good luck to you!

Roehl has been flatbedding for many a year.

That's about when I was in Marshfield in 2007. Take layers of clothing. It will be COLD and you WILL NOT get used to it. But Roehl is a GREAT place to train, and Marshfield is a nice place to spend a few weeks. Staying at the Old Dutch Motel I bet.

    Enjoy yourself.

Thanks jasonb. I will keep the layers of clothing in mind as I was figuring by mid November it would be getting cold up there.

Good luck to you tennmoto...keep us posted. Anxious to hear all about what to expect when I get there in a month. What fleet are you going with when your done?

First week finished. Pretty good school, we had some bad days with one instructor but we talked to supervisor and it seems to be straightened out today. He gets angry and abusive, two tense days in the cab for 3 of us,not good. I was ready to leave yesterday, today was ok so we'll see.

Are Jason Krenn and Brian Leaders still instructors? If so please tell them Dennis from the late 2007 group says hello.
I can see how it can get frustrating for an instructor if a student does not learn to shift correctly. We had one guy that was still really grinding in his third week!
