The qualification can be 4-6 weeks. You will have to get your equ inspected, go to orientation class, then you can book a load. If you want you can drive your equ. to orientation and be ready to go when your done.

Don't resign your current company just yet.

Took me over 2 months. Keep in mind they only approve about 5% of the completed apps.

I had no choice. I was let go, because my g/f couldn't stay out as long as we were staying out. I was hired as a team, and as soon as she spent her 2nd week at home, I was let go.

So it seems it's going to be a long ride before I get on..... CRAP CRAP CRAP

I wouldn't place all my eggs in one basket waiting on them to approve me.

I know it sucks but have a plan B.

I called them 3 or 4 times yesterday and left messages, and no one answered or return my calls.

    Looks like your right.

Dry van or refer is what I've mostly pulled. I've done some tanker before. Didn't really care or it.

I got approved by landstar in 4 days

Was scheduled for orient near ownesboro ky or madisonville I can't remember

But anyway I guess my point is didn't take me very long ..... But ... I am also very persistent and bugged them to death also

After it all I stayed in the tanker yanker clan

I didn't go to landstar but think they have lots to offer

The lady I talked to yesterday afternoon, told me the reason why it takes some drivers longer than others, is because it depends on the drivers ex employers, and how long it takes them to verify their previous employers.

She said If I didn't hear from her by thursday noon, to get back with her.

I just got an offer to to pull a nuematic takers today in S. Texas. 12 days on and 2 off. Guaranteed $800 a week minimum. That's driving their truck. I'm thinking about it. I'm not going to sit around waiting for a job that might not ever come.
