Done. It did a short update to the road construction stuff, but that was all. New batch came in today and went right out again, but they were already up to date from Rand. You should have it Friday. Thanks!

Mine has done well all week.
I will not be home this weekend, so I will not get my map update card till next weekend.

Don, thanks for the responsive and timely turnaround. It was good talking with you on the phone. I see a VuCube in my future, and now I know where to order it from. :biggrin_255:

Why doesn't my GPS tell about low clearances to the sides of me so that I won't turn into them? It only warnes me if the low clearance is in my path.

I do not use the logging and duty status feature - can I turn it off? Every time I power up now it tells me that my duty status has ended and then trys to keep track of me when I've traveled over 1 mile. I have no use for these features and just want to shut them off for now.

Also, since I live in New England and sometimes cross state lines a dozen times in a day, is there a way to set it so that it will not tell me when I cross the state line?

Roughly, how often are there online updates for my TND500?

    Thanks for your help.

    Set the logs to 'manual'.

Why would you go there if it's not where you're going???
