over time- way too many tanks of fuel, driver side mirror, 3 pallets of vcr's (80s), all the chrome lug nut covers, a golf cart (flatbed), many cb radios, misc truck parts from under hood, air lines, light cord, trailer light assembly, flat tire from behind the cab, and so on.

be security conscious - park under a light, if you got high dollar load park nose in the spot- under a light- reducing risk of trailer contents theft. if possible park close to the building where people are. the back row is asking for trouble

In Zambia we pay someone to sit on the back of the truck for the first 60 miles from Livingstone. The customs point of entry. The customs officers tip the thugs off as to what you are loaded with. When you slow down for the pot holes (understatement) they get on to the skateboard trailers and cut the tarps. They then throw the goods off the truck. They target consumer goods and are not generally violent so a guard on the back with a bull whip is all that is needed.

Now doesn't that sound like a fun job!

A guard with a great shot and a rifle would get rid of some of the 'pests'. Well, until they arm themselves too.
