Hit & Run in Wilkes-Barre, PA..all white tractor trailer..what co. hired this guy??

    I don't know what COMPANY this is YET but if you are the guy who just hit my 22 year old daughter in her BLACK TOYOTA CELICA in WILKES-BARRE, PA on HIGHLAND BLVD. around 7:30 p.m. tonight while she was sitting at a red light...FROM NOT MAKING THE TURN WIDE ENOUGH, ripped off the front bumper, smashed the passenger headlight, smashed the passenger front fender...THEN KEPT GOING and didn't even have the heart to stop, you ought to be ashamed of yourself!! You are a DISGRACE to the trucking company who hired you! We have the first 3 numbers of your license plate and we WILL be going to the businesses in the area to find out where you left from, what company you work for and who you are. This is to the COMPANY who hired this guy...I am a recent Class A CDL graduate (graduated in Aug. 2010) from a college and I can't find a trucking job due to a DUI that I had in my personal vehicle over 5 years ago. I would NEVER do something like this! SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE!!!

    Wow!! You have my sympathy, and I hope you catch the driver. I don't think any of these guys would knowingly leave someone like that. You didn't say, so I will ask.. Is your daughter okay?

    Good Luck to you i hope you figure out who this guy/gal is and they get whats coming to them. You're absolutely right this person has no business operating a CMV.

    Sorry this happened, but I don't understand how this driver did all that damage to the passenger side of her car? Unless there was two left turn lanes and he ran the red light?

    Or maybe he was making a right turn and his trailer caught her passenger side?

    This may be just an accident. Was it a hit and run? Yes. Was it an intentional hit and run? Who could say for sure. It wouldnt be the first time a driver hit something and didnt know it.
