Haha...my mama would have my skin if I wasn't! On top of my granny would come back from the grave to have my skin too! I think of it as not so much as being polite but a friendly warning. I will give you one chance to back out of me telling you. If you say yes you want me to tell you then I'm gonna let you have it. Now when I get really riled "southern goes out the window!

dude.....believe it or not, our "tongue lashing" is trying too help you, NOT hurt you....sometimes we get carried away...at least i know i do.....

just "do the right thing" take a few lumps, maybe you'll make out ok....

do not worry about the co-driver, save your own arse....you owe him nothing.

I feel for him, because, this thread implies new drivers to ask questions, You all have more experience, But so did his partner I assume.
His Partner was perhaps training him and for what ever reason he was not fessing up to what had happened.
Maybe thats the way the old drivers in that company operate. May be some of you would have too. I hope it works out for him, and if he survives I hope he would never treat a trainee or a new driver that way. And I hope he would give much better advice than some of you did. By not addressing the other driver , who did everything wrong, Its hard to take some of you seriously.
