It sounds like the girl was drunk and is just looking for somebody to blame, lol. And good luck getting a trucking job with a D U I , lol, might have to wait another 5 years before a "good" company will even look at you.

i could easily see a trucker pulling up in the left turn lane, coming out a little wide and waiting for the light, then a small car pulls in between him and the curb. he may never know he hit it. though there is no reason he should miss seeing it there

Thank you....A lot of these people act as though a truckdriver would never hit someone and keep going. Yes, there is a tire mark on the front right fender and there is a piece of his tire in the bumper (the bumper is laying outside at my house).

The trailer tire caught the right front of the car as he was turning illegally. That is what caused the fender and headlight to be smashed and the front bumper to be ripped off. There is still a piece of the trailer tire in the bumper sitting outside of my house.

First of all, she doesn't drink. She was leaving work at the mall. As far as we know, the truckdriver could've been drunk. Why else would he take off and leave her sitting like that?? I'll find a trucking job because I'm going to keep looking until I do...and I'll never hit a car and keep going like nothing ever happened.

First of all, she doesn't drink plus she's not my biological daughter...and wasn't raised by me, either...since that's probably the next thing you will say. I'm just letting you know ahead of time. Second of all, I don't drink anymore and haven't for a long time. Third...read the rest of the story that I posted about what happened before you are so quick to blame. Maybe you will be able to figure it out then. It's nice to know all of you truckdrivers who are blaming her would NEVER do something like this...but the one who hit her DID DO THIS! I thought maybe someone on here might be able to help me figure out what company he works for, but it looks like a lot of you stick together and blame the person who isn't a trucker. Maybe I shouldn't even be part of the trucking industry if this is what people who drive truck turn into.

I DONT GET IT EXPLAIN IT TO ME LIKE IM A 2 YEAR OLD. Are you upset because your daughter was involved in a hit and run? Im sure the insurance company is going to cover the damages to her car since it was a hit and run and of course she had coverage right...? Maybe your really upset because you chose to drink and drive once and got caught. Apples and oranges to me. knowing you had a DUI before you went to driving school why would you even try being a driver. we are a dime a dozen out here, A new driver with no experience plus a DUI to boot buddy you got just too much excess baggage for a company to want to even give you a first glance let alone a second glance.
SORRY. YOU ARE WHY WE HAVE SUCH A BAD REP, WE SEEM TO ATTRACT BOTTOM FEEDERS. SOUND HARSH BUT TRUE. I STAND ON MY 22+ YEARS EXPERIENCE I KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT AND HAVE WITNESSED FIRSTHAND THE DOWNHILL CHANGES THIS INDUSTRY HAS AND IS FACING.:biggrin_25510:

sooo the op first says the truck didnt turn wide enough--then it morphs into he was turning from a straight thru lane
how much you want to bet that the girl came in beside the truck as he was swinging wide?
