I got a phone call this morning. They are not interested in me because I have been out of school since June, have not driven since, and they do not offer a refresher course like some other companies do. They will only take on new school grads who are less than 2 weeks out of school.
That's alright. They don't deserve me anyway.
I applied at Watkins & Shepard last night.

thats interesting pretty sure a guy i was in orientation with was welllll past 2 months. of course they did end up booting him out so maybe they changed it after that haha. because he called up swift the same day and they said they wouldnt take him because he had been out of school too long...
basstime54 Thanks this. -
That was just a scam to get him to go to THEIR school, and learn The Swift Way.
Been there, done that, got the old worn out shirt to prove it. -
Well i graduated at the end of august but they are taking me i just have to take a refresher course which is what im doing this next week and i head to missoula on the 29th

Great. Good for you. I was told they do not have refresher courses. I don't remember who I spoke with. I'm thinking Sandy, but I don't know if there is any such person there.
Good luck! -

The school I went to is based in the Sacramento area, but they had a Bay Area campus setup in Oakland. It took me 10 minutes to drive to school everyday. Everyone in the class lived close by.
The school is gone today. The trucks are no longer in the yard. My teacher had a motor-home in the yard, and it is gone too.
I told the councilor that got me into the WIA program about it, and they said they knew. I was told they lost their lease.
