TradeUp - I think you've got a very realistic outlook on what goes on in real peoples' lives. Not everyone has a great situation in life and has the ability to tell their boss to pound sand. I feel lucky to be where I am. Just getting into this job (and a lot of other circumstances) has left me flat broke, but the incoming pay is good and I'll be sitting pretty soon.
I also really appreciate your willingness to share your biking routes as I plan on doing this once my training is up. I'll take you up on the offer one day!
The company I drive for hires to some degree out of the UK. I don't think it implies a poor company or lack of driver retention. There are a TON of drivers who've been here for 20+ years and are happy with their cheque at the end of the day. As for the equipment... almost every single company truck is a KW T800 and they sell at around three years. It's a nice feeling hearing the "whomp" from closing the door on such a tightly sealed cab.

I would love to share my routes with you.......whenever you want.
dancecanyon Thanks this. -
I've been with Bison for over a year and like working for them. I get paid every Friday and the miles are good, I never sit. I have a 2009 Volvo and don't have to slip-seat anymore. Sure they do things that make ya wonder, but overall I like it there and plan to stay. I also get home when I want.

You call yourself "Hurryupandwait" and wouldn't agree with me? I would think someone with that handle would understand what I am talking about.
