The Dock is back up for updating. Once updated you should be on version 1808 which fixes a few issues that were found on the last release.

PLEASE update to Dock 1.0.97, as this will point you to the more correct CloudFront and backend servers.

If you after updating are still receiving the Fatal Error or Navi.exe error, please contact Rand Support. Chances are your map files have a mixture of old\new data.

    Thanks,
    Mark

And back down again. It did apply the updates I had on drive so that wasn't an issue.

Nope.....first time. I've gone this route a couple of dozen times over the last few weeks & this is the first time its done it. Never done it before. In fact I was on that route today & it worked the way its supposed to....go figure.

One reason is some of us do multi-stops & like to look at the whole picture. Another reason is to optimize the routing. Some people just blindly follow where the GPS dictates, other like to plan their routes. On my other GPS unit (nuvi 755t) I can force the unit to go a certain route by entering in via's or stops along that route & can see the total mileage. I then compare what the unit says & any other routes I may be interested in. I can somewhat haphazardly do that with my TND700 by detouring sectors of the routing. Doesn't always work though. Another plus to multi-routings is if you have multi stops you can better plan your day by viewing the distances between stops etc. I think quite a few drivers do this. As far as the truckstops I think RMN has a great feature set. If I'm in unfamiliar territory I can filter by which ones takes my card, or has the services I desire. I think its a great feature.

Yeah, I can't get those. It downloaded and updated the tnd dock program, reinstalled it, and now I get this:

If the url it's going to is http://tndservices.randmcnally.com, I can reach it but the dock can't.

This message is possible if your connect does not quite make it to the servers on our end. The Dock does send out a Heartbeat. I have talked with the dev. and the servers are humming away just fine.

    Thanks,
    Mark

Ok, it was some kind of hangup with the dock. I closed it, restarted it, and now it's getting the update. It might not have finished the installation completely until I restarted it.

    Feature suggestion:
Many of us are only permitted to use "network fuel stops" that are approved by our companies.
Therefore I am suggesting that a Fuel Network check box be added to the travel center ratings screen that is also a filter option.
    Just a thought.

    Mark,

I now own 4 TND's 2 5's and 2 7's. My trucks all go to the same places. Is there a way I can access the saved locations off of the units I have had the longest and add them to the new units. Sure would be nice to have all the saved locations on all the units.

    Thanks
