the best advise i can give you that some one give me is to go to a truck stop for your self an talk to a few truck driver. an ask the ones who drive for them an go from there

Do NOT!!!! go with Werner (if you value your CDL) they will find some lame excuse to get rid of you once you pass thier training and then TARNISH your DAC.

WERNER IS EVIL!!!!! Trainers have only 3 -6 months experience now, less training hours , etc. and they will find a way to get rid of you(if you make it through training) and tarnish your DAC

As soon as you have a driver number you are employed, you keep logs, and you start earning when your wheels are turning, clearly, your not moving freight so your not getting paid, thusly, you are, indeed, hired.
Kinda like being sick your first day of work, you dont show, you get fired, you were hired, you were never paid, but you were still fired.
Or on vacation or home time.
If you total your car and kill 5 people on your home time, no, you were not being paid, but they will can you for it. And it will go on your dac.

Hey injun, I enjoy your posts and am weighing options. I just earned my CDL 2 wks ago. is training w/ swift 4-6 wks as in depending how your mentor feels you are doing and when to turn u loose?
Are u an o/o cuz that's a nice lookin rig!!
