it wasn't on black mountain it was on that stretch of I-40 after it that leads up to the NC/TN boreder. And they're talking about going east on 40 not west...lol

Like the other said, leave truck numbers out of this especially since your truck is well known from this thread. You never know what type of trouble you might invite incase one of those guys gets in trouble and finds out it was you. Also any close call accidents might want to be left out on here as well. Good thread, but AT you have to remember in this business to CYA everything that could possibly go wrong.

A lot of guys have lost jobs by posting a little too much info on trucking forums.

Good deal. A lot of others take that type of advice as an attack on here lol. Be safe out there young man. You're going to make a lot of money in this business with your attitude.

    Thanks!

That would be nice (money) , I always enjoy reading about how theres "NO money in trucking" or "you can't get rich driving a truck".....But trucking is a $12 TRILLION dollar a year industry in the U.S theres plenty of money out there you just need to be in the right place to collect it lol

I doubt I'll get rich in trucking but at least I won't be broke, and I get to do something I enjoy all day.

so I moved next door to party with the "real truckers" at Iowa 80 lol I moved all of 100 feet.

Anywho so I figured they'd have a better selection of Antennas and the power cord that I need ........well, If this place has anything CB related I can't find it. The worst part is Wolcott CB is like 2 miles away!!! They have everything you could ever want and I have no way to get there lol

Well I supose I could walk.....but its cold and windy so yea :biggrin_25513: I'm gonna stay in my cold truck instead lol. Although I might run next door to get what I need lol

So I just did all the calcuemalations (thats my word):biggrin_2558: for this 11 stop load I have and I have a feeling that tomorrow is going to be ROUGH lol.

I have 10 stops tomorrow Covering 277 miles and dropping 64 pieces of furniture.....and the just one stop tuesday morning with 58 pieces.

I did all the math and I'm not sure I can get all 10 done tomorrow, I have to call some of them tomorrow to get there hours but I doubt any of them will be there at 6pm.....funny though I'm delivering 24 pieces to a Holiday Inn.......So i'm going to see if I can do them last tomorrow since they dont close I hope lol

I do have a few tricks up my sleeve on this one though so I might just pull it off lol 3 of the stops only have 1 Piece so I'm hopeing I can just pull up and take it out, and bring it in lol instead of wasteing 2-20 minutes backing in.

Just in case anyone is courious when I do my math I automaticly assume every stop will take 30 min whether its 1 piece or 20. So that way I usually have a few extra minute to spare...

I'll show ya:All times are in eastern time, so remove 1 hour for local time.

    Monday:

    7:45am-Pre-Trip
    8:00am-Drive
    8:45am-1st Stop 11 Pieces
    9:15am-Drive
    10:15am-2nd Stop 8 Pieces
    10:45am-Drive
    11:15am-3rd Stop 1 Piece
    11:45am-Drive
    12:15pm-4th Stop 8 Pieces
    12:45pm-Drive
    1:00pm-5th Stop 3 Pieces
    1:30pm-Drive
    2:00pm-6th Stop1 Piece
    2:30pm-Drive
    4:15pm-7th Stop2 Pieces
    4:45pm-Drive
    5:45pm-8th Stop 1 Piece
    6:15pm-Drive
    6:30pm-9th Stop 24 Pieces
    7:00pm-Drive
    7:15pm-10th Stop 5 Pieces

    Tuseday:

    7:45am-Pre-Trip
    8:00am-Drive
    8:15am-11th Stop 58 Pieces

So If I can Switch 9 and 10 around I think I'll be ok. Again I like to plan for the worst so that when It works I'm happy lol

And if this works I'll still have quite a bit of time left to run on tuesday!
