yeah I have now seen 2 of the T700's on the road. They are the first that we have to take the DEF fuel also. I talked to a driver and there are only 24 stations set up across the country that sell the DEF out of a pump. otherwise you have to get the 2 1/2 gallon boxes at 14.00 each. this driver said it doesn't just use the DEF at regen it burns in with the regular fuel all the time.

Yes, it burns DEF all the time. That is what it is supposed to do.
It also will not have to regen very often at all. They cut way back on the EGR, which allows for higher temps in the combustion chamber and thus less particulates.
EGR causes most of those problems. But helps with others.

Anyway. If you dump a box of the fluid into the DEF tank every time you fuel you will be ok. Or get a few boxes every couple of fills.

Fuel economy should be better with the DEF fluid, power should be higher, and you should see fewer of the EGR issues.

I sure hope so cause I am supposed to start with them on the 29th. :biggrin_25523:

Least what I have been reading here and what my recruiter has told seem to be in sync and that is a good thing.

For the most part every thing has happen as said by my recruiter. I'm actually done with training. We are heading down a week late because of the holiday. I went to a private school that is contracted with Central. Where are you going for training?

So far all they have told me is that if I wanted to do teams that they would actually train the team together and then give us our own truck after that and that two weeks after getting there is when I would go with the trainer and then start getting weekly pay.
