I am really curious on what DOT is out there saying about log's (how to etc).
So have you had your logs inspected lately?
Did you get a warning, fined or verbal discussio?
What was the violation(s) for ?
What did you do wrong?
What did they say was the correct way?
I know DOT is pulling over drivers more and I am very curious what they are saying out there.
Candian drivers I welcome what MTO is saying as well (although I don't know all the rules completely I am familiar with them).
Come on open up it is for good conversation
Have you been stopped by DOT lately?

about 2 months ago or so maybe a bit longer. went thru weigh scale and tolf to pull to the side for a "quick" inspection. it started because i didn't have my seat belt on. 45 minutes later after going thru my logs and top to bottom on the truck and trailer and inspecting my permit book he let me go on my way with no citation.

Good job! He must not have looked very hard -
he fine toothed my log book and was even on a crawl around underneath the truck. he was looking for something but being the good driver i am he found nothing.................... -
Last fall I got a level one in OR. AND I got a sticker on the truck too.
The trailer didn't get a sticker because of a small air leak. But I still passed.
Not bad for a million plus and 11 yrs old truck. -
I just got an Axle overweight ticket in Va. last week. He never even asked for my comic book.
