Calex Express....My New Home!

Well last week wasn't such a good week I picked up in bakersfield on fri deliver to wegmans in pottsville on wensday as I was leaving the guard open the gate and I went back to close my doors as I get to about where the glad hands I notice my truck moving so does the guard as I'm turning aroumd to run back to the truck the guard yells truck rolling asx I'm jumping up to set them let's just say that lucky the gate was up and that no trucks where in front of the gate as I go to the yard the next morning to let them no what happen the safety guys already knew what happened let's just say I got an ear full and had to watch some videos again which wasn't a problem I am just glad to still have my job cause that was the stupidest thing I have ever done in my 6yrs of driving has anyone else had that happen and I told jim when I got there that's what I came in to tell him but what I should've done was told em when it first happened and I wouldn't of gottten the lecture I was just to simply embarrased to tell them but now I know that if suffin happens tell em right away or get yelled at later let's just say I womt be doing that again I like my job here and want to keep it I hope everyone has a great thanksgiving as ill be home sometime Friday or Saturday I just hope thers leftovers lol

 

jrotra---where did you deliver to in Newburyport,Mass and where did you pick up at in Auburn,Mass????.....happy thanksgiving to all

 

The delivery was for a company called Arizona chemical and my p/u was at Polar beverage. Thankyou and have a happy Thanksgiving as well.

 

Just wanted to say happy thanksgiving to all... i started my new job yesterday.. hauling water for this natural gas boom that is taking over this area... running a tri axle vac truck puling water from a river fill site and delivering it to a drilling rig... it gets boring due to a back up at the pumps but i just keep in the back of my mind... you are getting paid by the hour not the mile !!!!! only working 60 hours a week and no log book needed....

 

Well hope everyone has a good holiday I'm getting loaded in corpus christi tx and it be hauling but to the house I should be home sometime Friday but I think its tine for me to move away from this thread and start my own adventures like I said hope everyone has a good holiday and happy thanksgiving to all
