I said "in some areas." Now the Peoples Republik of Kalifornia just ain't "some areas!" BTW... you can have all the Cali freight you can haul, and my share too. Makin' a pretty good living hauling all that northeast freight that nobody wants to touch myself! And they don't have "Idlin' Nazi's" up here either!

I guess heat won't be an issue very much longer. We just got our first cool front this weekend.

well everyone has been quiet here lately.... i have driven for JCT as well as FFE on both their lease programs.... I applied to Prime recently and am waiting on her to call me back.... I just dread orientation.... when i first started in trucking a few years ago it was originally with stevens transport.... after two days in their school.... they sent me home saying they "found" something on m background report.... when i questioned about it they handed me a bus ticket and said have a good day. so i rode the hound home and applied to ffe the next day.... go approved the same day with NOTHING showing on my background report... so I am nervous about if prime does ALL of their checks before i get the final approval for orientation or is it after you get there..... thanks and keep that sunny side up and the greasy one down.....

Does Prime Recruiting use HireRight to background-check the MVR's?

The DAC report is something they look at, but we have in-house folks that look that sort of thing over as well - they're ex-LEO types, and rather good at what they do.

That should be cool. I don't think I'll have a DAC record (haven't been a driver, yet!) My MVR from the State is good, and the National Driver Record (NDR) is clear. But, HireRite has incorrect info on me. I'm just hoping I can prove it this coming Tuesday in Springfield! I'm pretty excited to start my new career.

I might be confused. Why would HireRight have ANY report on me when I haven't had a CDL? Swift received a report from HireRight that doesn't match my State's MVR or NDR.

Certainly I'm going to need to get HireRight/DAC report corrected. It'll surely rear it's ugly head to bite me later, even if not now.

The answer is they shouldn't have anything on you - Swift must have been using something else to get that buggered-up report on you.
