Been busy but here's the update.
Since I left on the 5th I've done the following:
SLC to Scranton, PA
Edision, NJ to SLC
SLC to Portland, OR
Shelton, WA to SLC
SLC to Phoenix, AZ
Now I'm under a load I picked up in Phoenix going back to SLC which I'll make the yard tomorrow, truck needs a trip thru the shop on sunday then I deliver this load monday. Already preplanned on a load to Idaho that has 6 stops, it pays $30 bucks a stop plus mileage. I'll reload at last stop headed to Illinois.
So when I hit the yard tomorrow that will be 7,500 miles between the 5th and the 20th. Not bad. Not bad at all.
Hitman and Jarhed1964 Thank this. -
Oh yeah..... moving to the midwest is looking more and more doable... -
Okay things slowed down a lil bit for me. My truck needed it's DPF filter. It should have hit the shop first thing monday but I had to deliver at albertson's first thing. Well that turned into an all day ordeal because there was an overage on the truck. So here goes my first complaint, the claims guy was fairly non responsive to getting back to me. So the truck goes to Frieghtliner on tuesday, toward the end of the day they had a load they couldn't get covered going from SLC to denver. Got asked if I wanted it, said sure if I had a truck. No prob, here's the keys to a brand new 2011 Cascadia the shop's finishing it up right now. I asked if I could keep it answer was, we'll see. So i run and get the load, but don't beat the storm, and get stuck in SLC. Run the load over the next day and was told to take it straight in, and oh by the way yeah you can keep that truck. When I get to the receiver They tell me that there won't be anyone to recieve till 2100 the next day, so here I sit at the flying J. Good news is I was told to DH back to SLC so they can get me moving cause there's no freight in Denver but plenty in SLC.
