Pick up load. Drive. Get emptied, or drop. Get loaded or pick up. Drive. Repeat every day or at least a number of times per week depending on miles for trip(s).
Oh, and lots of playing with the QualComm and some paperwork as well mixed in.

Sooooooo, shall I repeat it again? -
I'd like to know this info too. Hopefully we'll get someone who doesn't think they're witty or cute and will actually answer the questions.

All I can say about them is that the recruiter I talked to is very thoughtful.
She has send me a birthday card and now a Christmas card.
I get at least one letter a month letting me know that they would really like me to join the team.
The interesting part, and part I like actually, is that all are hand written. She takes the time to write it out, not just have a printer do them in bulk. -
Crete has a new "ten days out and one or two home" plan, but largely it's 21 (20-22) days out and one day off for each week.
You get as many miles as you can. This means if you manage your time well, get to consignee early (when allowed) to get load dropped therefore ready for another load and keep the left door closed you are pretty much only limited by legal time driving and by waiting for live loading/unloading. Crete has good equipment and great maintenance programs so breakdowns are rare. Drivers get from 2800 to over 3300 per week usually, but for one reason or another may end up with only 2200-2300/wk on occasion. Some drivers only do 2200 or so per week, but it's thier choice (left door opening, not getting to consignee early when allowed instead of waiting for "appointment", sitting and doing the truck driver whine instead of driving, etc) as freight for Crete, even now, is good.
A driver gets .31/mile for the ten months after his or her two months training period. Soooooo, (not being cute there, i promise) after one year with the company (10 months driving your own truck) you jump to .39/mile. Rate tops at .47/mile.
On another note, i joined this forum to get information before starting school and was simarlarly put off by the cuteness and the hijacking of threads. i complained. Got me nowhere but laughed at. So, take your thin skin, thread hijacking annoyance and lack of cuteness tolerance and stuff it as your whining does not impress anyone here or at least it shouldn't. Right, queen of hijackers? (you know who you are) -
I am at the 9 month mark with Crete. They are growing on me more and more. I sure wish the 1 year point would get here, this student pay is tough on our budget. All in all I run hard and like them so far.
Its tough sometimes to get together with other drivers due to the whine, but Im finding that is how most truckers (not just Crete drivers) are.
When do you start?

The majority of drivers complaing can usually point the finger at themselves a to who's fault it really is for the lack of miles.
Besides, most drivers aren't happy unless they have something to b ithch about or someone else to blame. -
I was hoping someone might give us some insight into driver training program. My wife and I are interested in driving team, and have spoken with a recruiter for crete. We understand that there training policy is 8 weeks with trainer and men with men women with women period no exceptions. Thats a good thing were thinkin, even so my wife is a little nervous about the idea of living in a truck with someone you just met an hour ago, man or woman. She was a little nervous at first about driving a big ol truck anyway till we went to some schools and talked to trainers, and went and looked at used trucks and climbed up in the cab and sat down and looked em over.
We start CDL School at Chattahoochee Tech Jan 4 and she's actually looking forward to getting started. Any suggestions how we might meet some of the trainers or any feedback info ya'll might can share that might help help to ease the mind.
Thanks and MERRY CHRISTMAS
