Many Holiday Blessings to Chris... enjoy your time at home and I'll catch you out there chasing white lines another time....
Each year my family shares some of the things each are Thankful For and so I am taking a little liberty here and sharing some of the things I give thanks for...
    1. I have a hope for eternity in a Friend named Jesus....
    2. My wife Peggy... after my friend Jesus, she is my best friend...
    3. My 8 kids, all of which I am proud to be their Dad..
    4. My 14 grand kids... they are the greatest...
    5. I have a good job in a time when many do not even have a bad one, this job may
keep me away from my wife, kids and grand kids but it is still a good job.
    6. I have health that is good enough to allow me the blessing of enjoying the 5
things I am thankful for listed above..
    7. Last but certainly not least, I made a new friend this year named Chris...

Be Blessed out there and keep it safe...

And you as well my friend. You're a good man and a deep soul and it was truly my honor to have met you. I look forward to our next encounter and hold you and yours in my prayers always.

There really are so many things I'm thankful for. Those who know the details of my life may find that hard to believe. But I have wonderful parents and a great family, good friends which now include many of you. Some I have met and others I have not but you've all been SO great to me here with your support, encouragement and teachings. I thank you all...:biggrin_25514:

But the biggest thing for which I'm thankful is that God has never left my side and continues to give me the strength to move along with a positive attitude and a happy heart.

The "tools" he uses are the good souls (all of you) he introduces me to each day that give me the secure knowledge I'm not alone out here.

    Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Thanks buddy and it's no big deal. To quote Sammycat..."It's not the date it's the people you want to be with that make the day special!!"

    So true Sweetie!!

I just spoke with my mom this morning. Dinner is at my brother's house this year. I'm SO tempted to just drive there and surprise everyone...LOL But those "out of route" miles would take too much splaning....:biggrin_2559:

All my best to you and yours wedge and I hope to see you out here sometime.

Well, I'll be rolling out around midinight to make this drop in Jersey. I'll get there early but I'm avoiding traffic and weather. There's some nasty looking weather moving into the northeast but it seems it will be mostly north of me by that time. Probably hit mostly rain on the way.

Can't wait to get home and see my folks.

    Wedge and wulfman75 Thank this.

I'm really enjoying my time at home. It's good to see my folks and be able to relax a little and even catch a little TV...LOL

It is however, pretty amazing how hard it is to find "time off" during my time off. There's always many things to do to get ready for shipping out again. all the laundry including bedding, paperwork that's been sent here while out, fixing a few things on the truck and a good cleaning inside and out. I'll get to Wal-Mart at some point to grab both needed items and stock the cooler with food.

I'm gonna pull the cabinet behind the right seat out so I can just drop it off at the terminal when I get back. I'm pretty sure the next time out I'll be able to afford an inverter, fridge and microwave so I want the truck ready for it. I've also decided to build some lightweight cabinets and drawers that will mount over the top bunk and give me some more "organized" space. I'll pick up some of the plastic organizers as well for the upper right cabinet so it's not just one open space.

Slow but sure the truck is becoming more and more a nicer place to live.

I hope everyone had and/or is having a really nice weekend with family and friends. I also thank all those who are still out working so myself and others can be home. :biggrin_25514:
