So I drove 15 minutes to the receiver this morning, took them 2.5 hours to unload me, then I drove 15 minutes back to the T/S, all of this was done between 1AM and 4:45 AM this morning lol Now I thiink I'm stuck here till monday morning.....But I was thinking about it and I might be able to get layover pay for this because by the time dispatch comes in on monday I'll have been empty and availble for more then 48 hours....

I started at 5am in dandridge, TN did my 15 minute pre-trip then drove 181 miles to the Conover, NC terminal which took 3 hours...then I did some paper work and a drop and hook and a pre-trip. Then I drove 15 min to the T/S to get a mud flap that was missing on the trailer then at 10am I started driving north to my fuel stop in Troutville, VA which took 2 hours and 45 minutes, then 15 minutes to fuel and a 15 minute break then back on the road at 1:15pm and drove 1 hour and 45 minutes to Timberville, VA for a 15 minute break. Then started driving again at 3:15pm to Harrisburg, PA which took 2 hours and 45 minutes. Then I had my thanks giving dinner and did my 10 hour break there.....Total drive hours 10.5, total On Duty Not driving .75, total off duty .25, total Sleeper hours 12.5 and a total of 645 miles! and average 61.42 mph. With a 65 mph truck and 65-70mph speed limits and every stop either being on or right off the HiWay thats perfectly legal to do.......
