I have been thinking about going into Flat-Bedding so I decided to look at a few company's. Started with this one and TMC looks like a great fit for me. I am currently in the TN ARNG and have completed two tours in Iraq. I can not tolerate those with no Integrity. I have read many post that boast how TMC has Integrity and expect nothing short of the same, from those that they work with. I like that.

    $10 tarp fee
$20 for each pick-up/stop-off over 1, but these don't normally happen very often.

No, not me... and No, they have no stocks. TMC is (as they advertise) one of the largest PRIVATELY held flat-bedding company's in the US.

Not sure about the $20...but the pay for tarping is $10 for steel tarp and $15 for Lumber...just throwing in my 2 cents...

ChainBinder, your .02 are probably worth more than my .02. I did not know they'd went up to $15 for lumber tarps, but that is good news. I've been gone for nearly 2 months now. When I was there I was getting $10 tarp fee. period. For steel or lumber.

Yeah but really anywhere you go the tarp pay is nothing close to what the companies are paid.

What does the avg O/O get to tarp a load at say L/S or mercer or one with his own authority? I would think its at least 100 bucks. Last night it took me almost 2 hours to tarp this load of lumber I have. It was a PITA!!!
