    It's common knowledge that Swift trucks are limited to 62MPH.

    Why are you only learning this today? (when you have had 10 years to observe it)

    And that 'slower while you wait' thing is just relative time - like, a pot of water takes longer to come to a boil if you are watching it.

    I learned one of our drivers was the victim of a rear end crash in New Jersey.. Fortunately he was absolved by the New Jersey State Police.. Let me tell you something.. The day an SUV with toilet paper, paper towels, pillows, and blankets to pad the blow pulls that on me is the day a man dies right..

    trucking is where it's at right...

    Swift just went to 62 mph just a few years ago.... They use to be governed at 55 mph.

    I learned today that the johnny bar (trailer brake, hand valve, whatever you want to call it) is extremely sensitive and can lock up the brakes without even being touched! Just ignore it long enough, and it rebels and locks you up just to get attention! Just got this truck last week and still learning little things.

    I learned to not rip off metal seal without gloves, I now have fingers with nasty cuts on them...Bleed, live and learn I always say...

    i would usually take my 5th wheel lock puller and yank that SUMANA BIOTCH right off......even if it was plastic.........:biggrin_2559:
