Do you know what England stands for?
Every New Guy Lasts About Ninety Days!
Be careful if you decide to go with CR England. What they tell you to get you to the school and get hired on is not how their program works. Do your research on google before you go to the school!
Good Luck!

The big red flag I've seen is this part here:
"You will now move into Phase II training. For 60 days you will be 2nd seat with an independent contractor. This will give you the opportunity to observe our lease program up close and gain additional driving experience."
Uh huh. -
First post / bad mouth company / no actual info
o0DaGal0o Thanks this. -
Typical bottom-feeder outfit run by a bunch of Godless pagans (Mormons).

Im not saying that England is a good company or not, but seriously look at his post.
Its his very first post on this site. He slams the company but gives no details as to why they are bad or what exactly happened. So he probably did no research before signing on with them. If he would of come here BEFORE hand and done some research, he would probably not be in the position he is in now. Or at the least he would have know what he was getting into ahead of time.If he put as much into the job he did there as he put into this post, its no wonder he didnt make it.
Oh, and feel free to call me a NOOB if you like. Sure, I am a NOOB as you so elequently put it. But I can tell you that I did my homework before getting into this and did not come into it with blinders on. I was well prepared for this industry and am very happy with the choice I have made. -
Well for one thing it sez Trucker's wife in profile so it must be someones wife upset with the company not the driver

I am going through the England program as we speak. This is how it works in a nut shell. It is a training company, what that means if you do not have a CDL they will train you to get one. If you have bad credit and want to own a truck they will by pass your credit history and lease you a truck with NO money down and eventually you can own your truck after 1 1/2 to 3 years depending on how hard you run. Then no more lease payment and the money goes in your pocket. They also have a program that sell used vehicle and takes the payments out of you pay. Not bad for a person who doesn't have the credit to buy a vehicle, that's me.
There are two phases you have to complete Phase 1 and Phase 2. Doesn't matter if your a beginner or been driving 20 years, I have seen both. Phase 1 is 30 days w/ a trainer at $61.00 a day. Phase two is 60 days at .11 a mile for you and your trainer. Phase two is to teach you how to run your business as an owner operator who just leased a truck and eventually wants to own it. Not bad for someone who has no job, bad credit and a terrible economy. I had three trainers and they were all making over $2,000.00 a week as a trainer. Now if you don't want to train you will make $500.00 to $1,500.00 a week depending on how you run your business. Or you can be a company driver.
It's not a bad company, it's not a great company but England gives you the opportunity to learn the trucking industry, get a truck and make money. You'll make $35K to $70K depending on what path you take at England.
If you are experienced you want to go to a company that does not train or a smaller mom and pop shop that can pay you more.
