Probably depends on the extreme you're willing to go to, I think the verizon mifi device is the closest thing you will find to an 'at home' type connection. It also has a decent monthly cost to go along with it as well. I use pdanet sometimes in a pinch and it works find for sporadic use but too much I've heard can damage the processor on your phone.

the only thing I know about JB is they RAPE drivers DAC reports when they leave, but they have no problem removing what ever they put on IF you come back to work for them......:biggrin_2559:

Thanks I need all the information I can get. I don't want to make an uninformed decision. I have 12 mos. flatbed experience 4 months dry van. Two, 5mph over speeding tickets one in a car and one in a big truck, some bumps and scraps in the load/unload areas, nothing on the road. Still working for this company but want to get away from the tarps. Any suggestions?

I've seen a couple of ads for small flatbed companies that say they avoid tarps or don't have them at all. Just keep an eye on the papers, or internet.

I am really trying hard to learn what I can about this industry, and prepare myself for success, so I'm dredging through all of these threads.

And once in a while, I find one of these little nuggets that I just can't quite wrap my brain around...:biggrin_2556:

True that. I just got my one year safe driving pin. And I'm just starting to understand.
